The Holy Trinity

Church of St. Michael, Taufers, Italy

This sculpture is at the summit of the main altarpiece. The curl of the Son's left hand suggests that there may once have been an object in it, perhaps a cross like those seen in some other images of this type. As usual, the Father holds a globe surmounted by a cross and the dove hovers between the two anthropomorphic figures emitting rays.
